This RAM Handlebar Mount is a simple and sturdy way to mount cameras, GPS units, telephones and other gear in an accessible and visible location on any motorcycle with a tubular handlebar. Made of marine-grade aluminum and powder-coated black, this RAM Mount can be securely attached to a handlebar or other tube or rail that is between 0.5 inches and 1 inch in diameter. Just place the top of the base on your handlebar or other mounting location and slide the U-bolt into place, then tighten the nuts. The RAM Mount's ball-and-socket system provides for adjustability in choosing the angle you need, whether you're taking video of the road ahead or reading the instructions on your GPS unit. The mounting surface for your device is 2.5 inches in diameter and has a 0.25-inch by 20 bolt, a standard size for many devices, centered in the plate. Adventure Designs also has the specific adapters you'll need to mount your V.I.O., GoPro, Contour and Drift HD cameras on the RAM Handlebar Mount.

This high quality Ram Mount is great for mounting your camcorder, camera, or helmet camera securely to your motorcycle handlebar or any other round crash or frame bar. The RAM zinc coated U-Bolt rail base consists of the 1" dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal 1/4"-20 thread centered on a 2.5" diameter Plate. The thread is removable with a hex in case you want to also use the mount for other applications. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both still and video cameras. The base has a 1.0" diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1/2" to 1.0". To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black plastic covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
